Students make two pinch pots, connect them together to make a hollow form, then the student transforms the object into something found in the natural world (animal, rock form, fruit/vegetable, etc.)
Pinch Pot Multiples - Beginning
Students make three or more pinched parts and then assemble them into a sculptural or vessel based object
Supported Form Soft Slab #1 - Beginning
Students make a soft plastic slab and wrap it around a form to create a large vessel, decoration is left to the students creativity

Coil Project #1 - Beginning
Students use the coil building technique to make an object that gets both wider and narrower in its form, a blog assignment is associated with this project for inspiration
Coil Project #2 - Beginning
Cups with Handles - Intermediate
Students throw cups on the potters wheel and then make handles to create at least 6 pieces that relate to each other
Lidded Jar Project - Intermediate
Students throw lidded jars on the potters wheel, this is a front/back view of the object
Slip Cast Assignment - Advanced
Students bring in an object and make a two part plaster mold, then make multiples of the object in clay and create a composition with the multiples
